About REET 2024 Exam
REET stands for Rajasthan Eligibility Exam for Teachers. By its name, it is clearly understood that this is teaching post-exam. R.E.E.T exam is a mandatory exam for the teaching job in Rajasthan. In 2022, the education minister of Rajasthan Dr BD Kalla declared that those candidates who will qualify for the exam will be awarded lifetime validity certificates for the reet exam. This means candidates can apply any time after clearing the exam before the upper age limit set by the BSER department. Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education conducted paper 1 and paper 2. As we know the Rajasthan Eligibility Exam for Teachers is a state-level exam, so most applicants in Rajasthan are waiting for the exam date. REET Exam Eligibility criteria
Before applying for the exam candidates need to check the 3 things. First is education qualification, second is the age limit and third is document verification. These 3 things applicants must have. Let’s talk about it in detail below:-
REET level 1 education qualification: Check out the following education criteria to become eligible to appear in the primary teacher exam i.e from class 1st to 5th.
-> Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education.

->Secondary (or it’s equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education.
OR
->Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
OR
->Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
OR
->Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education
REET level 2 education qualification: Check out the following education criteria to become eligible to appear in the upper primary teacher exam i.e from class 6th to 8th.
Graduated or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education.

Graduated or post-graduated with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
OR
Graduated with at least 45% marks and passed or appeared in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), following the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure).

“At least 50% marks either in Graduation or in Post-Graduation and B.Ed.” the following Proviso inserted-“Provided that minimum percentage of marks in graduation shall not apply to those incumbents who had already taken admission to the Bachelor of Education or Bachelor of Elementary Education or equivalent course before the 29th July 2011.”
REET Exam Age limit
The age limit for both exams (level 1 and level 2) will be the same. The lower age limit is 18 years but the upper age limit is depend on the individual candidates because of their belonging category. The category-wise age limit is provided below.

REET 2020 Notification History, Check previous Eligibility
REET Exam Date 2020 Announcement:
In a past event, the Rajasthan government officially announced the date for the REET exam. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot disclosed the exam dates on a Friday, marking the completion of two years of his government. Gehlot announced that the REET exam would be conducted on April 25, 2021. This announcement brought hope to aspirants, as 31,000 teaching positions were to be filled through this exam. The REET notification was expected to be released very soon.
